PopEx ≫ 2000 ≫ Back in Brown!

What do you think of it?

The interweb version of the "worlds biggest selling rock weakly", nme.com 1 has been relaunched. What do you think of it? Mmm, all brown, possibly in tribute to Fatboy Slim and his combat fatigues that he's wearing on the front cover of the new inky issue?

More importantly, what lessons can popEx learn from this? What ideas of theirs are good enough to copy?

Here's a list of other 'zines, sorted in order of how good you, the valued punter, have voted them... Please check out them, and nme.com 1 and let's rank them all off...

[hmm, where did the list go?]

The content here originally from my popular (in the tail end of the '90s) site popex.com. Some of this contributed by other people, so mainly originally created by me. I shifted this content here when popex finally closed down at the start of the noughties. Hopefully this brings back memories if you find it.
