Blog ≫ 2004 ≫ Love on the rocks with pilau rice

Just been given a menu for Holloway's Red Rose Tandoori 1, and it proudly proclaims "best Indian Restaurant in the UK", as voted by The Darkness, if that's not a recommendation then I don't know what is. Does anyone know where The Darkness are right now? Frank seems to have been spotted Any more sightings, straight to Stalking Heads, please.

Incidentally I had my own ace curry this weekend from Cheriton Balti and Tandoori, it too has "Vegetable Shashlik" on the menu, not something I've seen before, Shaslik is normally a sizzling thing. Anyway, it was tip top!

  2. Reading this back twenty years later, almost to the day, and I'm not sure if this one was originally on popex or originally on the blog. I have written a very similar thing in another post, so I suspect this should have been popex. Imagine this, on the front page, as a "news" story. I was very unprofessional.
