Blog2005 ≫ Decorated!

Good work decorating elves, the front room is looking very nice now 1! Still got a gap to fill with skirting board, if we can match up this massive Victorian pattern. Hope we can find a salvage yard somewhere 2...

The lounge in Earls Avenue decorated, but with the second hand sofa

Great weekend too, went to Savour Aroma in Cheriton 3 for a Chinese, very good, tofu and black bean sauce and lots of extras for me, recommend that one and will get it up on Folkestone RestauRANTS asap. Some good drinking and other socialising in Chambers and elsewhere too.

  1. Must have had a picture of our lounge in the flat in Earls Avenue here, originally linked from Flickr. I will try and recover it.
  2. Not sure we did find a replacement for the skirting board did we? And now I look back on this eighteen years later at the start of 2023 I am thinking that did not look its best. That sofa was from Clare's gran's flat when she moved into a care home. See our remote controlled fireplace though, that was cool.
  3. Removed old style link to folkestonegerald.com/v/Cheriton
