Ooh there's a proper Google Maps API now, they've made things like this legit! The old way still works, and the new way means a full recoding, but it will make sure the map app is stable... so it's great for my interactive map of folkestone, but less so for sites like floridasexualpredator.com 1 though as the new rules specifically say "no using these maps to identify individuals or harrass people"...
