Blog2006 ≫ Drought, in the fields, the fighting's just begun...

How irresponsible are Amazon right now? They're advertising this 'domestic' high pressure washer 1 (400 litres per hour) and this upright high pressure washer 1 (530 litres per hour) on their home and garden 1 homepage. I went there looking for things to assist in the recycling of water, like big butts. Water butts, I mean, they have this 40 litre galvanised job 1, a "slim jim" number with no price 1, or this really quite nice "Italianate" 150 litre monster 1. So, more responsible products than irresponsible products, good work.

Wondering what's happening with the local property market, last week's paper seemed to have A LOT of huge properties new to the market. Some of these are big houses split up into flats, but being sold as one unit. Have the local big landlords union heard something about the future of property prices? They don't seem to have risen since we bought at all, and Reuters says they fell again last month 2. If I find out this high speed rail link has been cancelled or anything, I'll be really pissed off.

There will be no problem with our new sofa apparently, they will send us replacement feet and cushions, and they need no more than an allen key to fit them. Jebus just how uncomfortable are those cushions going to be? Ah, the allen key is just for the feet.

Got me a copy of We Validate 1 the new album from MJ Hibbet And The Validators, and it is PACKED with extra multimedia bits including a whole extra album's worth of MP3s plus demos and things. This single is out already 1, go wild, go crazy, dig deep, buy the album too 1, not listened to it yet as my IPOD didn't update, but Nic P 3 says it's the best thing they've done. You should definitely buy it 1 [s]when it's out next week[/s],).
