Blog2008 ≫ everything is json these days

⬆️RE: PHP 4 to 5 migration - 11316

I can remember the day I first heard of it and didn't see the benefit of it at all but now I use it for everything (like the folkestone map), I have a feed of absolutely everything on the site as json 1... Think I might need to change my neat urls to allow callback= into the url though, all the feeds I use from other sites (and my own ugly urls 2) are of that format, which is the standard for actually using someone elses feed, (like with jQuery 3).

Have been managing up to now with array2json 4, but am looking forward to using some more PHP5 things anyway.

  1. These were originally all links to search the site for content, but it does not work like that since I moved to a static site
  2. this was a reference to my old php endpoint that looked like /php/xml.php?v=ugly&mode=json - I thought it was clever to make them look like flat files later and remove the querystring...
  3. Removed old docs.jquery.com/Ajax/jQuery.getJSON link here.
  4. Removed old bin-co.com/php/scripts/array2json/ link here.
