Eight inches of snow in the back garden, measured! And ooh, a robin
We're still snowed in here, did not go to work. It's nice and sunny though, so it is going to thaw.
I put a tray of food out for the birds yesterday, as any bread I was throwing out just disappeared in the blizzard, but it sunk into the snow and was completely covered overnight. It was approximately where I stuck that ruler, so it's possible there's eight inches of snow on top of the tray, and another eight inches below that...
Nice, there's a robin on the tray eating the bread right now. If I move to get the camera though he'll fly away... will try.
