Watched Home of the future 1) last night, a little bit weak I thought. I know it has to be popular, and it couldn't be an hour of just "how to run cables", but it focussed a bit more on the fluffy side of things, and also "the present" rather than "the future". Still going to watch some more of them, but I won't necessarily force Clare to watch any more. In fact I may try to actively disuade her from watching, as she already wants a car that automatically parallel parks itself.
If I got one of these 2 I could look down inside our walls and under the floor and work out if I could run cables without actually having to smash the walls down. 150 quid well spent I think.
More on Home of the future when I have digested all of the online content too.
