I should have posted the link to sandgate-sea-festival.co.uk 1 and reminded people it was on in advance shouldn't I? The 'Gerald is going down hill... Anyway just been along there, very busy, nice to see so many people in Sandgate. Escondido and new addition The Sixty Six were both doing food.

This is my website The FG that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. This site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar + voting for favourite places + things, + I hear it was a useful reference for others who were moving here. Now Iʼve moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesnʼt get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. I am not Gerald BTW, the name comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great arenʼt they? Do get in touch if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
