Alan Davies is coming to Folkestone

FG ≫ 2013 ≫ Alan Davies is coming to Folkestone

Really enjoyed the new Jonathan Creek last night, although it was absolutely ludicrous. And now I see Alan Davies is coming to Folkestone on November 16th 1. This is the Life Is Pain show, that we saw in Edinburgh donchaknow, so I don't suppose we'll go and see it again.

  1. Removed old atgtickets.com/shows/alan-davies-life-is-pain/leas-cliff-hall/ link here.

I saw Alan Davies probably four times; QI TV recording @ venue undefined ('07), Venue 150 at EICC ('12), Gilded Balloon 30th anniversary gala @ Gilded Balloon (2015), + National Maritime Museum (2024), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up.

This is part of my site The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when we first moved here sometime in 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. This site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for favourite venues and things, + I hear it was a handy reference for those who were thinking of moving to the area. Now Iʼve moved out of Folkestone again (though just to Hythe) it doesnʼt get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald by the way, this comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE arenʼt they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
