Spoke to a neighbour who had also seen the badger in our front garden, while I was out "gossiping on the front step", as Clare would have it. Actually I was taking out the recycling, and then as it was still so nice I mowed the lawn. Our front lawn is looking pretty good right now, and our back garden is looking quite tidy too. At least it was before Number one son and number two son and their cousins spent the day playing in it, will see when I get in from work today...
