Took a little time yesterday to work out why my raspberry pi temperature monitor broke when I moved it from the back of the house to the front. First a wire came loose, but then while I was investigating this I updated the software on the pi. The new operating system updates needs a new change in the /boot/config.txt file, need to add this line:
dtoverlay=w1-[gpio](/wiki/#gpio)
and reboot and all is good again... This temperature outside the front of our house seems suspiciously high to me though. I hope it's not indicative of poor insulation and heat from our house leaking out...
At some point my home brew beer graph would have appeared here. I haven't done home brew for ages, it doesn't quite seem worthwhile, but maybe in times of austerity it will return.
raspberry pi: Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
