Number one son is a free reader now, his reading is frankly amazing, and that's not just me being competitive Dad, it's a fact. The last couple of week's he's chosen Survival books, could you be a fox, could you be a mouse, could you be an otter 1 etc. They've been quite good, common sense so quite easy, but educational too. We tried Fighting Fantasy books together as a bedtime story, probably he's ready to read one of those on his own now. So the next step: Could he survive a nuclear bomb 2? Bleak online game from the BBC...
