Blog2016 ≫ Beach stuff

I'm after some new shorts, and if I'm going to the bother of buying new clothes I want them to be ace, and high tech, and last forever and fulfill all sorts of futuristic functions I can't imagine yet. I'll be keeping them on from May until November so they have to earn their keep. I have not been able to find any that have a built in emergency life raft or anything yet, but have narrowed it down to these:

On the subject of beach tech though this sounded good at first 5, a beach mat that includes solar powered usb charging and a drinks cooler! But a) it's not available yet, it's an indiegogo (like kickstarter) b) the solar charger sounds pretty slow and c) the drinks cooler is not solar powered, it's just a hollow in the pillow, so the drinks are not cooled, only sheltered from the heat of the sun...

Woah also smart surfboard 6. I would like an ironing board version of this.
