I have previously written up my DIY automated blinds solution here, it was 40 and ties in with my existing home automation, nice. Just seen on Vesternet Soma Smart Shades 1 that look like a neater version of this. It's not out yet though, and I suspect the price is going to be higher... it works via bluetooth though, and is solar powered and a lot smaller, and still gives manual control. If it's not too much I'll give it a go, I'd like to add this control to the boys rooms.
