My home security camera now has infrared lighting, so I can see you burgle my house even in the dark! I bought this light ages and ages ago, a bit of a punt. It's meant for attaching to video cameras and it didn't come with its own power supply so didn't think I could use it at first. I've bought another couple of solutions in the meantime but not been able to get them working, both involved soldering and I found it too hard. But I've found another power supply, leftover from some other device, and set it up and it works great!
