Blog2016 ≫ Dover is still broken

Wife could not get to work yesterday. Crazy holdups on the channel crossing meant Dover backed up, and this had knock on effects. So not just the route to the port, which often has problems, but all roads in Dover town. Wife was meant to be working but there was just no way in. No public transport either, as the train line to Dover is out for the whole year, and no busses could move on the roads either. People were stuck in their cars night and day, and it could last for weeks.
