Blog2016 ≫ Folkestone fire station open day today

We waited and waited for the rain to stop and in the end just made it for the last knockings of the fire station open day. The boys got a go on the hose:

The fireman in that picture is soaking because he'd just been putting his head through a board so kids could throw sponges at him, and while there one of the other fire fighters turned this hose on him. They were all friendly and good sports, the boys had a great time there.

More photos here 1. After we went for a walk and a cycle and a scoot along The Leas and then a lovely pizza in Follies.
