Well not strictly a bonus day off it was all planned in advance and everything, but a day off in which we could just have a day off. Not with particular horrible tasks to perform. Of course Clare filled this up with shopping, but this was OK. We went to Canterbury and she bought some new boots and we had a lovely lunch in Veg Box Cafe. It has moved since we last went there, it's smaller and a bit more streamlined now but very good. I had burger and various salads and Clare had quiche and salads. Good puddings, we had two vegan cheesecakes. I particularly like the kimchi they had their recipe on the wall, very simple, I might give it a go.
I took the Peugeot for MOT on the way there, and it passed just fine. To collect it later I walked from home to Zanchi Motors, about an hour's walk, so I certainly did my steps that day.
Lovely to have a day off WEIRD to not go to a pub for any part of it though.
