Clare was working, so we got the bus into Folkestone. Did a little holiday shopping, got me some shoes I can wear in the sea, as the other three already had, and also a new bag. Got a Karrimor Sierra 10 1 as it's cheap and small enough to carry on days out. My regular back pack that I use for work (that I actually bought on our honeymoon is from Dakine and it's lasted really well but is a bit too big to carry on a simple family day out. Plus it's generally got my computer and things in it. So got this smaller one now, and it's going to double up as hand luggage for one of the boys - the other already got a bag exactly like this one.
The shoes are from Hot Tuna and are what I'd think of as windsurfing type shoes, made of wetsuit neoprene with a rubber sole. It's going to be quite stony where we are going on holiday.
I took a packed lunch for the boys so they would be happy and let me eat in peace in Beano's; I got their mega burger special, very good, and they had cakes.
Today we're off to the new Follies, and the cinema. Sshhh cinema is a secret still.
