Pleased with that! No pace makers this week, but I worked it out for myself. If I wanted to get to twenty-one minutes I had to do 1k in 4'12. I wasn't really trying, but my first km came in at just over that (my Garmin watch tells me) and that one is slightly up hill. So if I keep pushing it I could do it, and I did, and came in at a new personal best of 20'50, twenty seconds faster than last week.
Biked there and back. Didn't really feel like going out when I first woke up, it was cold and I was tired, but very glad I did.
That's dry-vegan-runuary day twenty-five done too! Only six days to go.
I did go to the Inn Doors last night, though not for long. Really noticed it that I was not drinking, my friends did too, I think a slight disappointment that I had not stayed out for a longer session. I'll be back soon, don't worry!
Also today I have done DIY, of which more later. And we went looking for a new sofa, but did not agree on much. The boys want a big black leather sofa with electric recliners like some crazy bachelor pad, but we do not. I have it mind that you see a higher proportion of this kind of sofa at the tip, or dumped in front gardens. I suspect they don't last as long, sofas aren't meant to have moving parts. I am easily wooed by simple gadgety things like a sofa with a usb slot or cup holders, and could be talked into a sofa like that by the boys. I will stay to stay strong.
Clare is coming round to my view of the "Chesterfield" type sofa, we might be able to compromise on something. But did not quite see the sofa we want today.
runuary: Running probably 5k every day for all of January.
