Slept really badly last night. Partly it was the rain, there was water dripping loudly off the gutter onto our balcony. Partly it was Clare getting up turning the place over looking for earplugs because of that noise. But there must be something else too as it's always on a Tuesday. Maybe it's in my head now, but it might be to do with not drinking in the week. I sleep fine on a Monday though and I don't drink then. Is it the residual booze in my system from the weekend? Or is it that we always have pasta on a Monday and that helps me sleep better?
I think I worked out service workers for the new popbitch thing 1 so could put that live soon. The service worker keeps the page working to some extent when you are offline and really helps with speed and reliability. It stores a bit more in the user's browser so it doesn't have to keep coming back to the server. My last difficulty was letting the user's browser know there is new content and you should refresh, but that is solved now. At least I'm keeping my brain active while I'm furloughed.
We did our exercise this morning, and will do more schooling this afternoon as the weather looks to be worse then. Joe Wicks was quite good this morning, he did a "play your cards right" thing to choose whether the exercises were harder or easier. We also found some goo maths things to do, that were recommended by the school. The boys are more engaged too as it's more things to do on their tablets, and I'm happy as it is less printing out.
