Lots of walking today. I did my weekly jaunt to Morrisons for cider and sweets for the boys. Do I need punctuation in there? Cider for us and sweets for the boys. I did not even look at the doughnuts, but I did get bread and pasties, so not a healthy shop by any stretch of the imagination. A good healthy walk though, 9km. And we did Joe Wicks workout again of course, and I'm going out again later. A friend is leaving work (haven't we all left work?) to move back to Portugal, so we're having a socially distanced goodbye, up at the bandstand in Folkestone. I will walk there via the Inn Doors in a bit so can have a few beers with me.
Did our video call again last night with my Fareham boys, some of them at least. Very enjoyable. Discussion around if you can socially distance in a hot tub. Ro says yes, he has a new hot tub and it is more than two metres across. I think the two metre rule only applies in the air, when you're walking past people in shops. Not when you're sat in a pool of bodily fluids, that must act like a super-conductor of germs.
Can't help feeling the new Madeleine McCann suspect news has been released at this time to distract from other news stories. Coronavirus is not going as well as the government has hoped, and now the Black Lives Matter protests on top of that are making the whole world seem even more chaotic. Then when my paranoid brain gets working on it I am thinking who is it encouraging the people more at risk from coronavirus to be gathering together in the streets like this protesting?
