Blog ≫ 2020 ≫ Getting on with the homework
We're making progress with the school work. Thing one has finally got on with some writing about his family tree today, writing a short report on the artist Harry Clarke and the Titanic victim Charles Valentine Clarke. It took a lot of shouting but when he finally got down to it he did great work.
Thing two did a Zoom call with his class this week, and I think that has inspired him to have more things to show and tell. He did a book recommendation (below) that I hope will be included in the next school newsletter. He also made his own alternative summer fair with stalls and activities, so we made this into a video to send to the school. I hope they like it. It ends with a very sad point that I realised after is subconciously based on "Is there another series of the Pink Windmill show?" 1
Thing two is quite keen on taking pictures and making funny videos right now, maybe we'll make our fortune this way?
