It's our birthday! Nice day, I got some books and chocolate and beer nand new running socks and money and a trip to Go Ape, which we all did today. Weather held out for us just about, it started raining at about the time to come home. We went to Bedgebury Pinetum for it, it's a fairly small Go Ape there but you go round it multiple times. Thing two managed to fit in six times round.
After, delicious dinner from Luben. There were a few hiccups with it today so they gave us two pizzas for free, so it came in nice and cheap. For exercise I walked in to town, and Clare is now walking back.
Lovely weekend with Mum and Dad visiting, though the weather was a bit off. Them being here meant Clare and I could go out together for a change so Friday we went to the Inn Doors, and very nice it was too. Saw some friends in there, nice to all be back socialising again. Saturday we stayed in all day and had a takeaway from The Clay Oven. Sunday we went down to the coastal park and the Harbour Arm. There's a good market down there. We had bagels for lunch from Bobby's Bakehouse, quite good.
Still nothing from Dyson.
Looks like Garmin is recovering, now to update all my runs... I had a good run yesterday 1, I was doing an average of four minutes for a km on the way out, into the wind along the canal path. I thought I'm going to break records when I turn round and run with the wind behind me back from Hythe towards Sandgate along the sea front, but no. A fairly consisten four minutes twenty. Still good but I can't understand why the wind didn't help me. I suppose it was helping me and I was just more tired. I ended up back at the Inn Doors again, and though they were just closing they let me have one pint.
Not expecting any news from work until tomorrow. This new news about Spain getting worse coronavirus is another kick in the teeth for work. Today being my birthday should have been a free day off from work.
