Blog ≫ 2020 ≫ Actual gardening leave

I cleared five sacks of clippings and trimmings from the front garden, and still it looks like this.

I might get some more sacks and tackle the back garden tomorrow, though it is going to rain.

In other "productive day" news I chased up the joiner who is going to build new bunk beds for us, as I haven't heard back from him. He's ill and isolating and now has a bit of a backlog, but he will get back to me. Also I'm making one of my now legendary shepherds pies... it's fast become our best dinner of the week.

Hmm I might be about ready to announce the new job, I have officially accepted it on their system. Just waiting for the contract now.
