Of course, this morning do these boys have any recollection of wanting to go to the library and agreeing to it? They're sat on their butts, so I'm doing some cleaning. Just a quick blog post to kick the automated things into production.
Thing two remembere we had put some ice cubes in the other day, ready to make a Mr Frosty 1. This was a gift from last christmas, something I chose for them as I'd always wanted too, but unsurprisingly it's not as good as it appears. We got a disappointing amount of frost and it feels like it's going to fall apart. Most kids toys are terrible aren't they? Only Lego is good. This is interesting, IKEA and Lego have done some sort of collaboration. We have already solved our Lego storage for now, I thought, maybe these are better. I'm doing another IKEA order now, for a light fitting for the study, more smart bulbs, a PIR 2, and on a whim this smart lock. Not sure what to use it for though, it's not really a very secure lock surely? Just might be a gimmicky way of opening my bureau. I need a new catch of some sort for it, one of the glass doors doesn't shut properly, so why not this... I know it's a bit of a travesty hacking things like this into a hundred year old unit, but I don't think it really has any value, so better to make it useful for me than to try and preserve it.
Horrible news about the child migrant deaths in the channel. It does sound a better plan for people to be able to apply for asylum without putting their lives at risk like this.
