That's all the spending done for a while. Pleased with it, it has all the bells and whistles, more than I have time to discover at the moment. Looks like it has a satellite receiver inside it so I can plug the dish straight in. If I do that it either means I can only record one channel at a time on the Humax right now, or I need to run another cable from the dish (I think the dish can support four). Might have a play with that a the weekend.
I need to tear the boys away from it before I can do any sort of investigating. I have moved the other TV 1 to the playroom but it has not tempted them down there yet. I will move the Nintendo Switch while they are sleeping.
I have fixed the light switch in the playroom and the study too, bought some of these 2 which looked a good way of a) using the IKEA remote as the actual wall switch and b) stopping someone accidentally turning the light off, stopping the bulb being controlled. I missed that they are advertised as "3d printed ready for sanding", they are a bit rough and ready. Still they do the job.
Bought some Lloyds shares, thinking of buying some shares each month for a bit of a laugh. They're not making me any money so far.
Good few days at work, been investigating an issue I thought I had caused, and happily turns out I did not and it's an easy fix.
Starting to think about christmas, have had a work christmas party / meal put in my calendar, but assuming it is an online virtual thing.
