I'm sure I did not sleep A SINGLE WINK last night, so woke up this morning not feeling like running. Is it too many coffees? Or not enough booze? I have walked over 10km today though so still got the points for my team in the work charity challenge. We are a long long way behind the leaders, and only a few points behind our friendly rivals. It's touch and go.
Had some good results from work though, there's a new initiative of a social hour at the end of every week, so beers at our own desks, but in work time, nice! Then also it's our christmas do Friday week (which is also pay day) and we can expense some food to have that day too. And the work is going well too. It's a good place to work.
Good that the coronavirus vaccine is looking ready to go quite soon. It's an ABSOLUTE LIE that it was rushed through because we've left the EU as people like Nadine Dorries and Jacob Rees Mogg have said 1. We have not yet left the EU and:
the Medicines Directive (2001/83) allows national medicines regulators (the MHRA) to approve unlicensed products for use in response to the spread of pathogens.
Some bloke on twitter said 2 and that's good enough for me 3.
Proper shame about all the anti-vaccination propaganda too, but you can't argue with this sort of stuff, people who like conspiracy theories don't respond to facts.
Richard Osman is doing alright, his book 4 is now in the top ten best selling hardbacks of all time! And it's still going... We have read it and it is a very nice book.
Might have one of my advent calendar ciders tonight, that will see me off to sleep.

10k: Ten kilometres, about six miles in old money. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
