It's her mum's anniversary today, her and her dad have gone to visit the grave. Will they get there though, and if so will they get back? Dover is at a standstill. Lorry drivers are understandably protesting at the port as they've run out of food and want to get back home.
Our Sainsbury's delivery today has a few substitutes as expected. They're bringing a 2.5kg turkey crown instead of the smaller one Clare ordered (is only for her and boys obvs). Also they're out of sprout trees. Apart from that it is looking ok for our own christmas food.
Press conference at 2.30 today? Earlier than usually as Boris Johnson has a big old list of town names to read out that are going into tier four, or five.
THIRTY YEARS AGO TODAY I was seeing The Senseless Things, supporting The Cropdusters, in Southampton. I don't have a ticket or anything, I remember we got in free. We got a free t-shirt too for helping out, I know I cut the sleeves off it at some point. I hope I still have it, but all things do tend towards the bin eventually.
