Waited for Clare to get in and then ran round Hythe. Very windy out, and dark by this time. The wind was in my face all the way to Hythe, so harder going that normal. As I ran back along Princes Parade it should have been much easier with the wind at my back, but it's too dark to see. I had my head torch on but it was a bit dim.
Tried the rechargeable Petzl battery back for the Petzl head torch when I got in and it doesn't seem to work, bah.
Also harder than normal today as my whole body has been aching. I wondered if I was coming down with something, but then I realised it's just that I did a Joe Wicks workout yesterday with thing two, and I am out of condition.
Home schooling went OK today. I sat at the table with thing two for a bit in case he needed help, but with all the preparation, opening tabs in advance on the computer, he was fine. Thing one as ever was quite self sufficient.
Twenty-five years ago today, a Skunk Anansie gig in Portsmouth. Speaking of Portsmouth they had a good result today winning 4-0 against AFC Wimbledon.
Just realised today some of my "year" of friends might turn fifty before I see them next. We were saying "if we can we should do something this Summer", and if we can't the first ones of my school year start turning fifty in September. How can that be???
Record number of coronavirus deaths today, 1610 in a single day. So much for us turning the corner, being past the peak and so on.
