Piece of cake. Went out after work, and it was dark and slightly icy underfoot, but no problem at all. Not many other people out! Maybe I should keep this up next month too?
That's my last Monday of runuary then, sort of the last Monday of dryanuary too. It's the last Monday of January but I'll start the year off with all the good intentions and aim not to drink in the week, only at the weekends. We all know this will slip, and towards the end of the year the weekend will be Wednesday round to Tuesday again, but let's try and start it off properly.
I'm really looking forward to the first Friday in February, but not just because it's the day to open the fancy new wines and beers that I bought. It's going to be pay day too, the first one where I will get my 15% Tesco discount too. Maybe time to start working on a new shopping list, so I can order some stuff then for little projects that I can do in my half term week off. I do already have the new bunk bed on the way, so should have enough to keep me occupied. That and the wine.
Shares had an exciting day today, they went up about £50, but then down again nearly as much by the end of the day.
