This doesn't normally stop me I know, but fewer blog updates these days as there is nothing going on. Yesterday morning I ran, only 5km so I could be back to pick up the shopping. Then my new routine of a graze around Tesco with my discount card, buying pizza for tea and other things. Still got so much booze in from recent deliveries that I wasn't weighed down with cans and bottles.
I took the boys to Grandpa's for the afternoon, Clare did some work, I did some housework and made a shepherds pie for the week, then actually sat in the sun on the balcony for an hour. It was great weather again yesterday, not absolutely warm enough for this but sunny and bright. I caught up on some recent Private Eyes and drank a quirky beer from the Brewdog "lockdown survival kit" advent calendar type thing. It was a lager with guava and something or other, very odd.
I have not been impressed so far with the beers from beer52 1. Remember I got eight beers for just £6 postage 1, and I might let it ride for one more month to get another eight that are different. If they are not amazing, it gets cancelled. The first beer52 one I had was not drinkable, an absolutely foul sour beer with strawberry and olives. Whoever would have thought that wouldn't be nice? The beers I got from https://www.curatorsofcraft.co.uk have all been good. They're more expensive though.
Today I've had breakfast, so not running for a couple of hours, but then might do 10km, as it looks lovely again. I've started off a chilli in the slow cooker, and might get round to rearranging thing one's room. I will be doing an IKEA order as it's pay day this Friday, but will post details of the new products separately. I've not even had my previous IKEA order yet, and in other waiting-for-delivery news shh, the secret vending machine is due within the fortnight..
Our Love / Hate gig just appeared in my "gigs from this week in history", because it is scheduled for one year from tomorrow, and I have programmed it badly. Also tomorrow is the eighteenth anniversary of seeing The Darkness supporting Def Leppard at Brixton Acadamy, that was good.
And I thought I had nothing to say.

5k: Five kilometres, just over three miles in old money.
10k: Ten kilometres, about six miles to you. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step-count target.
