Blog2021 ≫ Swimming good, pub too

Took thing two swimming last night, it's going well he says, though I'm still not allowed in to watch. Then I went to the pub! And it was great! First I had a cheeky half in the Potting Shed, and very nice it was too. Then the weather was really bad so I got Clare to drop me at The Inn Doors. Not having to walk there meant I was there that bit earlier and could see the friends who were going earlier and probably will be leaving sensibly early. They did not leave sensibly early they stayed and had another two pints with me. Then I had a couple more with two other friends who came in. So nice to be back, so nice in fact that I am going there again today.

Thirty-two years ago today I was at WASP at Portsmouth Guildhall. This means thirty-two years ago on Wednesday was the REM gig that I did not go to. I picked the gigs either side of the gigs I would later think I should have gone to.

Ooh, had my pay review at work, and I got a bonus that I already knew about, but also a pay rise that I wasn't expecting.
