Only minor screaming ab-dabs from thing two that he definitely had done all the work (he hadn't) and he definitely hadn't been watching Minecraft videos on Youtube (he had), so he had half an hour of tidying up at the end of the school day. Thing one just quietly got on with it really, he did the work the school had set him in about fifteen minutes and then investigated some related topics on the internets 1.
I think we are having a mystery dinner out of the freezer. I put it in there, couldn't find a pen to label it, it'll be ok, we'll eat it this week, I'll definitely remember. I hope it is bolognaise, as we're going to have it with pasta.
I have been too busy to have vaccination side effects today, which was lucky.
I have birthday present assembly to do tonight after the boys have gone to bed, and a laying out of the gifts and cards, and a bit of wrapping still to do. There is lots of party food here for tomorrow, he's going to have a great day of eating and drinking anyway.
