Stonks are not having a good week, especially compared to last week. I was nearly up in profit this time a week ago, now I'm about another hundred pounds down on the Freetrade app, about even on my ISA account. I will buy more on pay day, buy the dip, they say. The cryptos have been a mixed bag. The prices are going up this week, but the £250 I put into Binance has done badly. For one, those Dogecoin fell in price. Now I can't get the money out of Binance again. I managed to open another account on Kraken and transferred the crypto there, at a cost of nearly a tenner. Then yes I can get it out as cash from Kraken but it's going to cost me £20 to withdraw it. It's a mug's game. I think I will scrape out of this fiasco with about £100 or so and a lesson learnt. My other cryptocurrencies are in Revolut, which does not have the same issues. Revolut even lets me trade in Doge now too. Binance has been rubbish.
Still very busy at work.
Pay day on Friday, I will go out and stock up on stuff for the Folkestone Parkrun seventh anniversary run as they're doing a big food bank collection. This means driving to parkrun instead of biking it, I'm sure I'll cope. Then a relaxing weekend after that..? Think we need to look at some "back to school" shopping for the boys too.
The legendary Supergrass and Bluetones gig on South Parade Pier was twenty-six years ago today, and exactly a year before that it was Shakin Stevens.
