Weather unfortunately did not hold out for the bank holiday food fair on Hythe Green today. We had a good time though, we had four different styles of food for our dinner and a cheeky cider from the beer tent and bumped into some friends and sat and chatted with them for a while. It could have been dryer and warmer but it was alright. It's been on all weekend and theother days were better for it.
Last night after Clare got in from work I went to the Inn Doors "for one" just before closing at quarter to six. Except it was not closing at six because of the bank holiday, so I stayed there until nine. That is not why I did not go running this morning though. I got up as normal to go but my right ankle felt a bit funny so I did not risk going out. I ran for half an hour on the treadmill instead, and it held up OK. But after after that too knackered to go out.
I'm not feeling quite ready to go back to work on Wednesday. Suddenly feels there is a lot I need to do.
Boys are back to school later this week, possibly swimming is back, and I need to harvest my hops on Thursday too. Busy week.
