Beetle wouldn't start tonight, so we could not get to swimming. It was a bit funny yesterday when I had to get to school and back. Feels like the battery, could be the damp, but maybe it's just not charging properly from that solar panel trickle charger. It doesn't get much of a run. I will have to get a proper battery charger at the weekend, or maybe just bump start it and go for a long drive. At least it has petrol in it.
Clare late in from work otherwise we could still have made it. And her shift has changed at the last minute so our plans to go to Canterbury on Saturday are off. At first I thought this was really annoying, but now Grandpa has stepped in to take thing one to Saturday morning sports club and take thing two for the day too. This means I can bike it to parkrun without having to worry about dropping them off anywhere, and then I could go straight down to the Harbour Arm for Docktoberfest. Not sure if it is a full on beer festival, or just the official launch of the green hopped ale. But still, worth a look.
Work is going well.
