Toilet is making noises, it keeps filling up from the cistern. Got so noisy that last night I had to turn the stopcock off to stop it filling up. Today I tried to fix it, took it apart, looks like it is the massive washer in the cistern that has perished so the water keeps trickling into the toilet, so the cistern has to keep refilling. I bought a replacement for it, but I just don't have the confidence to completely remove the old one. I isolated the toilet, drained it, it looks quite simple to put the new bit in, but I can't commit the welly needed to remove the old bits. I'm worried I'll break something and then we'll really be in trouble. So, going to call a plumber tomorrow. Luckily we've got other toilets so can hang on for a few days, without needing to hang on for a few days.
Work is going well, school is going well too. Canoe club tomorrow, though I think we're going to give up swimming club and just try and go on our own at the weekends.
Looking forward to this pay day weekend and our trip up to Stratford. If only I didn't have a plumber to pay for. Maybe I won that 250 million lottery today though.
