Head torch day today! Set the alarm and got up to run while it was still dark, as I needed to be back to get thing two up for school. Thing one had the day off and Clare is working a late so got up late. My head torch ran out of battery within seconds, and the headphones the same, so it was a quiet and dark run to Hythe and back. Still, runuary day four done, and dryanuary day four well underway too!
Played more Settlers Of Catan 1 yesterday, and then had a lovely meal out at Luben I had a bit of dicky tummy when I got up this morning. I don't think it was last night's Luben I think it was more likely me trying to string the christmas leftovers out for too many days. I had a reheated christmas dinner for lunch yesterday, yes the third of January. It was only my leftovers from our second christmas dinner on the 31st December, but maybe it was a day too long...
Later watched a really good TV show - The Tourist. A bloke wakes up with no memory after an accident in Australia and people are trying to kill him. It's really good, very cinematic, great views of Australia. It's so weird to look at these long empty roads and tiny towns with seemingly no people in them. Cannot imagine what it would be like to live like that.
Push up challenge still not going well, I have not tried yet today. Can do ten over lunch, I'm not getting close to the seventy a day I needed.
Stonks are doing well today, Tesla had a big old jump yesterday and Lloyds are flying up today, it's all good! They've nearly gone up enough to cover the increase in costs in the IKEA chair that I want. What is it that can have caused the cost of goods coming in from to have gone up 25% this year?
I'm back to work today, and because yesterday was the bank holiday we're straight into Tuesday of meetings. All from home still of course. Let's hope this continues for a while...
