Runuary is starting today with a go on the treadmill, this looks like being the new routine, as I can fit it in around breakfasts. Just 1km so far while thing one was eating his breakfast, then thing two gets up for his. While he's eating I can do another one or two before taking him to school, and then work. Then in theory I would just have to do two or three at lunch to hit my target. Yesterday I mostly did this because it was so cold out, but partly because I can't get out early like I like to. Today it's not so cold but I just like the idea.
Thing two had school swimming yesterday, and it sounds like it went well. Glad we are keeping up the swimming when we can as they enjoy it and they are fine at it now we've stopped the lessons.
Push up challenge is going better, I did nearly 100 yesterday. Have got a few friends involved now, they're all doing better than me. All but one are smashing my numbers, and we shared videos of each other and they're all doing better cleaner pushups than me. So it's not just Clare and thing one being critical of my push up technique then...
Pay day today. Maybe the day to get that IKEA chair, even though it's up 20%? Will talk to the boss again today. Tomorrow she's working so we can't shop together but I'm going into Canterbury for an eye test. I'm going to get up early, take her to work, go to Parkrun with the boys, then head to Canterbury. I have an eye test, but no actual shopping plans. I have a backlog of books to read (really enjoying this one right now 1), but might buy myself another hoodie, and maybe spend our christmas money on a heated drying rack 2. I can set it on a timer, and maybe we can stop using the tumble dryer? Maybe.
Still dryanuary, fitter, happier, more productive...
