Blog2022 ≫ Turns out I did have time to do the new light in the study

I have run out of rooms to put the remote controlled home automation lighting in, so I've gone inside the fridge now. It's fine. This is the IKEA smart cabinet lighting and I realised it fits in the beer fridge (which is now the soft drinks fridge). I wanted a light in that room that wasn't the main lighting to come on with the PIR when someone goes in the room, to give a cheery glow and let you not bump into things before you turn the proper light on. And this is it. The fridge is nearly twenty years old, it was a thirtieth birthday present. Maybe coming to the end of its life as a fridge, but it makes a very attractive lamp.
