I thought Tuesday was supposed to be my busy day of meetings? Was busy today, lots of meetings, but some productive work too. Not only was I able to help some people out but I was able to be noticed helping those people out. And I have my annual review this week!
Finished for the day now, ready to go round Jim's and see Kev and the boys at last. Was just thinking thing one is late home from school today and it turns out he's already round there. Makes sense but no-one told me that was the plan. We're having a takeaway of some sort for our tea round there today.
Oh on school, letter home from thing two's school, there are lots more cases of the covid, lots of kids off, plus cases of sickness and diarrhoea too which is lovely. Be under no illusion that this coronavirus is over it's just that there is even bigger news about at the moment.
To follow up from the Cure and Pet Shop Boys gigiversarries of the last couple of days, eighteen years ago today was The Darkness at the Barfly. They played the Barfly a lot, but this was the charity one, when they were big, which makes it better.
I've been fixing up some old blog posts, and some of them related to those gigs, there was this Cure review and all the nasty comments I got from Cure fans who were jealous I was there when I wasn't a proper fan...
Still at war, oh look at that, Russia seem to be shelling evacuating civilians yet again. Every time they've said "no we will stop now so the women and children can get out. oops now we missiled the hospital again!". They are taking the piss aren't they? I guess they know this is their last chance to be in charge of anything. It might be a controversial point of view but I hope there's not a nuclear war.
Stonks still doing terribly, Lloyds down 25% this month. I just bough more, it'll be fine!
