Italy here we come!
Had the day off, went to Canterbury, and booked our complicated Italian trip. I've done it and booked only three flights to Rome, but four flights back from Naples, so I have to get myself to Rome in time for the official beginning of the holiday, by hook or by crook. But probably by train.
We went in the travel agent and planned it all out, then had lunch in Canterbury Wholefoods while we thought about it, then went back to book. I thought we'd sit and celebrate in The Thomas Tallis after, but not time, had to be back to pick thing two up from school and the booking took ages. So Clare dropped me off in Folkestone to get him and I walked home. Stopped in The Firkin Alehouse but it was very quiet. If anyone was around - or if the Inn Doors was open - I would have had another one in Sandgate somewhere, but they were not (and it was not). So, home, then to Tesco, and now to eat chilli for tea.
I think next month is about as early as I can book my train tickets, but I must start plotting.
