Trooli came today to fit our new super fast full fibre broadband, with fibre optic right up to the house. But then they went away again because there is a blockage in the duct where the cables go from the house to the street. Looks to be at a sort of t-junction just beyond the end of the path. They said they could continue with the "soft installation", fitting boxes inside the house (we need more socket type boxes in the lounge, behind the sofa) but I said no let's do it all on the same day. If they ultimately can't fix this duct outside the house I don't want any extra holes drilled inside. Hopefully they'll come back in a couple of days. They have painted a yellow X outside the house at the point where it needs fixing. I assume we're not going to have to pay for this.
Back to work today and came in to nothing working, gah.
