Day off nearly over, waiting for Clare to come in. How did I do?

Take T2 to schoo ✅
Washing ✅ Three loads.
Ironing ✅ ALL the ironing.
Groceries ✅ Booked delivery for Sunday and a bonus trip to Tesco.
T2 lunch bookings ✅ Done for the next three weeks, right up to the end of term.
Go for a run ✅ 5k in the cold driving rain. Set me up for an achievious day.
Home automation DIY ✅ Got T1's remote controlled blinds working again. Not fully automated still though.
Ninja cook something ✅ Baked potato for lunch, fantastic.
Watch a fil ✅ Well this is a sort of, I watched two episodes of You on Netflix instead. I like it, don't hink Clare will though. It's a bit like Dexter.
Finish the terrible book ✅
Sit down ✅
Listen to records ✅
Have another coffee ✅ Three in the end!
Collect T2 from schoo ✅ Early actually which put paid to the next one...
Ooh maybe an afternoon jaunt to the Potting Shed? ❌ Well obviously this would be the one to be sacrificed, even without T2 coming home from school. But luckily my friends called to say "fancy a few at the Clarendon today?". So we did and very nice it was too.

Why collect T2 from school early? They phoned me to say he was sick. Well he felt sick. He had not been sick. He seemed fine by the time we got home and he was very keen to get on Mario Kart as there was some new content arriving this very day, hmm. Back to school tomorrow.

Bonus job, I did a very satisfying unblocking of our vacuum cleaner. It's like a new machine now. Also I actually ordered the new macbook power supply that I've been thinking about for about a year now. Two in fact, one for this old laptop and one for my work one too. I've had a spare one from work for the last couple of weeks, handy, but I will return that one and always know I have my own spare power supply here. One permanently wired into my desk, and one in my bag ready to use elsewhere...
