Blog2023 ≫ Inn Doors Reunion

Out for a pretty chilly walk yesterday afternoon, round Sandgate, aiming for The Clarendon. Was saying I'd seen a particular old friend drive past in his van the day before and that it was odd that I'd not bumped into him in the street. WHAT DO YOU KNOW, this friend was walking right towards us, on the way to the Clarendon!

We walked round Sandgate to try and get a look in the new Ship, it's nowhere near done yet though it's hard to see inside.

We went to the Clarendon and had a couple of games of cards outside, only slightly dampened by Clare knocking her first drink right over the cards and me. Wife and the boys went home after the first drink, I went inside with the other friends, and some more from The Inn Doors also turned up. It was a proper little reunion.

I got home just in time for fajitas for tea that I really should have helped to make. Delicious.
