Went to Tesco and got all this booty.
I wanted some veges to make a curry, and so I sort of got some, bit of a compromise, my curry might be a bit carrot heavy. I could have got a celeriac, I should have done, not cooked that before. There were lots of convenience type salads and vegetable side dishes, but I only got what we can eat tonight. There are some interesting new ranges there that seem not to have been popular, but good for me. We just had a snack of (free) strawberries and (free) coconut, and now I'm cooking free vegetable balti (I already had the spice paste open) on free electricity from Octopus Energy 1! I'm in my element.
I've also got more drying in, and I'm ironing the previous lot, still free electricity.
It's so nice out, I want to get finished soon so I can sit and relax on the balcony. I've got some washing hanging out there to dry too, insted of having it inside on the heated rack. I'm torn, what is the best way to do it?
Was so nice we had our lunch down on the beach again too. Walked to Sandgate and sat on the beach there. Lots of people out, on the beach and in the sea.
A lovely day all round. As long as no-one shoots the president of Iran's helicopter down or anything it should carry on being fine.
Sunny and a gentle breeze, 9 - 19℃.
