Blog2024 ≫ Off to Singapore

Off on a big holiday about now, leaving the house at 3pm. Then flying overnight to Singapore for a big holiday. Never been to Asia before, have we even been this far before? We'll be in the same timezone as parts of Australia. That is far.

We picked Singapore as we wanted to go somewhere interesting and different and the boys wanted to go back to Florida and Universal Studios. So Clare did research, found Singapore has a Universal Studios, so that's where we're going. Ticks of a new country for us all, and if all goes according to plan we can go to Malaysia too as it is very close. On the train!

Singapore sounds quite liberal:

Prohibited items are not allowed to be imported into Singapore. These include:

I'm with them on the chewing gum, grandpa came round our house yesterday, he has chewed gum constantly since he stopped smoking about twenty years ago, and he stuck some stuck to the lid of our kitchen food bin.

I hope Singapore is nice.

Ideally not posting this info before we go so you don't rob my house. But if I accidentally do the whole place is booby trapped, Home Alone style, so be careful.

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, 13 - 23℃.
