Much drilling, all the tools out, measuring multiple times to be sure it is straight. Finally have old style manual blinds in both the boys bedrooms. The IKEA smart automated blinds are going to the tip, there seems to be no rescuing them.
Just looking for the Aqara roller shade driver that I have for our room, makes a normal roller blind into a smart roller blind, and it's no longer available on the amazon 1. Now should I even be looking at another one of these, as the little wheel has broken on our one and it no longer works. I need to check if I still have the packaging as I think it came with a spare wheel. But I wonder why you can't get them any more?
I really want smart blinds / curtains, that is proper home automation. But so far, three different solutions, and each one has failed me. Maybe time to stick with manual blinds, give it up as a bad job.
